The College has several opportunities for members to become involved with providing research and data about the profession. These systems are set up to collect information that will help to improve patient outcomes.
PASCOM
PASCOM-10 (Podiatric Audit of Surgery and Clinical Outcome Measurement) is a web-based audit system that allows for data collection in all fields of podiatric practice. It provides an effective way to do clinical audit and outcome measurement in practice. It also provides an effective way for you to store proof of your own CPD and acts as a logbook for clinical practice and training, supporting a reflective approach to practice.
It is hoped that all podiatrists will want to use this tool to improve patient care and help to develop the basis for how we promote, educate and learn about the benefits of podiatric practice in the UK and beyond.
PASCOM-10 can be used in private practice, the NHS, in private hospitals, as well as in GP practices, sports practices and in academia.
The system produces a national data report each year.
