Payment options

We offer a range of membership payment options to suit your circumstances.
Our membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December. If you are joining part-way through the year, please contact our Membership team to find out your pro rata rate. If you join online, your subscription will automatically be calculated at the pro rata rate.

Annual fee

You can pay your full membership fee in a single payment by direct debit, credit/debit card or cheque.

 

 

 

Quarterly direct debit payments

Payments collected on 1 February, 1 May, 1 August and 1 November. 

If you join after 1 January we can only collect the subscription in three payments, and if you join after 1 April there will only be two payments etc.

Ten monthly direct debit payments

Direct debit payments collected from 1 February - 1 November. 

If you join after 1 January we can only collect the subscription in nine payments, and if you join after 1 February there will only be eight payments and continue to decrease monthly.

Payment process

Whether your membership payment method is a one-off annual fee, four quarterly payments, or 10 monthly direct debits, please read the following information to assist with your chosen payment process when becoming a member.

Direct debit payments

Direct debit payments can only be set up for collection on the first of the month, from February to November.

When the College receives a new direct debit mandate, BACS guidelines state that the first payment cannot be requested for 10 days.

Reclaim tax on your membership

You may be able to reclaim tax on your membership. HMRC has advice on making a claim. For specific tax advice, speak to your tax advisor or accountant.

Arch Support

Arch Support is our benevolent fund. It provides assistance to our members and their dependents who are in need. The Board of Trustees approves grants for a variety of needs and also signposts members to other agencies and grant-giving charities.

Arch Support relies on donations from College members and branches, and income from its investments. It does not receive any monies from membership fees.
