Accessing the archive and donations
Accessing the archive
The archive is available (by prior arrangement) for review by members of the Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod), students, academic researchers and the general public.
Some of our holdings are on display at Quartz House (the London office of the RCPod). However, the majority of our collection is in storage. We might be able to provide access to digital copies of some items, or we can retrieve originals if required.
We use the cataloguing system MODES. Many items from our collection have been catalogued and this is an ongoing process. Lists of holdings are available on request.
Enquires about the collection can be sent to the curator at chpm@rcpod.org.uk.
Donations
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept donations in any quantity. Most of our collection is in storage and we have limited space available. However, we might be interested in acquiring unique and unusual items.
If you have anything you would like to donate, please contact the curator in the first instance. Donations and deposits can only be accepted with a signed agreement form detailing the specific terms and conditions of donation or deposit.

Enquiries
We are happy to answer routine enquiries submitted via email regarding access and use of collections. Unfortunately, it is not possible to respond to detailed research enquiries, other than to give general guidance as to what material is held.
For complex research enquiries, it is recommended that researchers visit in person.
