Terms and conditions

This prize draw is organised by The Royal College of Podiatry, Quartz House, 207 Providence Square, Mill Street, London SE1 2EW. The Royal College of Podiatry reserves the right to remove and/or cancel a careers event location as a prize draw allocated location.

Who can enter

This giveaway is a free Event prize draw and/or Overall prize draw and is open to entrants who are:

(a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Event prize draw and/or Overall prize draw period
(b) must have attended one of the career event locations and completed all three steps as detailed below to enter:

  1.  Talk to us - To find out more about a career in podiatry
  2.   Scan the QR code - To read our careers page or favourite the page
  3.   Share your details with us by completing our online form.
(c) not employees of the Royal College of Podiatry, members of the Royal College of Podiatry or are an immediate family member of the same; and
(d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Event prize draw and/or Overall prize draw.


Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Event prize draw and/or Overall prize draw, together with a valid email address.

How to enter

  • By entering the Event prize draw you will automatically be entered into the Overall prize draw
  • Simply complete our online form and enter your contact details - you will be automatically entered into the prize draw at the end of the careers fair that you have attended
  • When all our careers events have taken place, your name will also be entered into the overall prize draw.

There is a cap of one (1) free entry across all careers event locations.

Any entry that does not meet the criterion will be incomplete, invalid and ineligible to win the event prize and/or overall prize.

Eligibility

  • You must have attended one of the careers fairs listed above
  • Only one entry per person is permitted
  • The prize(s) are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered
  • The Royal College of Podiatry reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions
  • The decision of the Royal College of Podiatry regarding any aspect of the draws is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

The draws

  • The winner will be notified by telephone or email (using details provided via the online questionnaire) within seven days of being chosen. If a winner does not respond to the Royal College of Podiatry within seven days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Royal College of Podiatry will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above
  • The Royal College of Podiatry reserves the right to void, suspend, amend or cancel the prize draws if it becomes necessary to do so.

Prize

There is one (1) prize of £50 (fifty pounds) Amazon voucher allocated to each careers event location (total fourteen (14) £50 (fifty pounds) Amazon vouchers) for the Event prize. There is one (1) prize of £200 (two hundred pounds) sportshoes.com voucher for the Overall prize. Winning entrants only will be emailed their prize voucher, in their name only, with a separate email direct from the Royal College of Podiatry confirming winning status and prize allocated.The Event prize and Overall prize cannot be transferred and/or has no cash value. Standard voucher expiration, terms and conditions are applicable: please refer to the associated voucher provider for individual voucher terms and conditions. The Royal College of Podiatry takes no responsibility for lost or invalid vouchers. 

Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Royal College of Podiatry, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be liable or responsible to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Royal College of Podiatry, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. Third party suppliers hold no association or individual responsibility to the prize draw.
