About
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate apprentice podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating foot and ankle disorders. This role requires excellent communication skills to educate patients on foot health and preventative care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Perform surgical procedures when necessary, including corrective surgeries for nail deformities
• Educate patients on proper foot care, hygiene, and preventative measures to maintain foot health
• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems for documentation and follow-up
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in podiatry through continuous education.

Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• If needed help with reception, answering the phone, taking payments, calling patients re appointment bookings
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and provide empathetic care
• Ability to educate patients clearly about their conditions and treatment options
• Familiarity with IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments
• Working within a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in clinical assessments.
