We were delighted to welcome over 2600 members to our first ever online conference held over three days - Wednesday 25, Thursday 26 and Saturday 28 November. We hope you enjoyed the wide range of expert speakers and will be able to translate some of your learnings from the conference into your everyday practice.

Access to recorded webinars

Some members have been asking if they can access the webinars retrospectively. We are pleased to say that full unedited videos of the sessions are available to view when you log in to the conference portal.

To watch, simply click either ‘Day 1 video’, ‘Day 2 video’, or ‘Day 3 video, depending on your preference.

After editing, the full conference will be made available to ticket holders on the same platform for one month after the event. We expect this to be available from mid-December.

Digital conference accessibility issues

The College wants its conferences to be as accessible as possible for all of its members. We remain conscious of the need to work to provide provision for those with hearing or sight impairments and other disabilities. Subtitled videos of the digital conference will be made available from mid-December.

CPD

You will have received your certificate for attending the CoP digital conference. You will also have received a CPD booklet to complete prior to the event which invited you to log your hours.

For CPD purposes, the digital conference included nine hours of face-to-face sessions. You can also log any reflection or reading time you spent afterwards too. Whilst CPD points don't technically exist, broadly we would suggest that one hour of logged activity = one point.

Annual Conference 2021

Whilst we loved having such a huge and enthusiastic online audience, we very much hope that we will be able to meet face-to-face at next year’s annual conference in Liverpool. The dates for your diaries are 2 and 3 July 2021. Further details will be shared in our newsletters and on our website as plans are finalised.
