Event: Record keeping and consent, with Katie Harwood

We will look at the Royal College of Podiatry's Record Keeping and Consent Clinical Standards, covering:
  • what should and should not be included in patient notes
  • how to write good patient notes
  • the legal requirements surrounding patient notes, and
  • how to audit your own patient notes.

With Katie Harwood, Professional Support Officer, Royal College of Podiatry

Katie qualified as a podiatrist in 2002 and has worked both in the NHS and private practice. She has worked for the Royal College of Podiatry since 2012 and is currently one of the College's Professional Support Officers. She is qualified in Employment Law and as an Expert Witness. She is also a Board Director of the Labour Research Department.
