College update following the announcement of lockdown in Northern Ireland from 26 December

Confirmation from the College that podiatrists can continue to practise.

The Executive in Northern Ireland has agreed that all non-essential shops and salons will close at the end of trading on Christmas Eve, and that from 26 December, Northern Ireland will enter a new lockdown. We wish to confirm that this does not affect podiatry. Podiatrists can remain open, and can continue to undertake home visits and visits to nursing homes.  You must still follow clinical triaging and PPE advice.
