A reminder that the provision of healthcare is not affected by the COVID-19 tier system.
All podiatrists, including those who are now under Tier 4 restrictions in England, can continue to practise.
However, if your practice is based within a business which needs to close, you will need to discuss with the landlord how you can stay open. For example, a notice can be placed at the entrance to say that access for podiatry is by appointment only, so that you can admit patients one at a time.
We have developed a series of posters and social media assets which might be of use to you in delivering key messages to your patients, such as the strict requirement to book an appointment before they arrive at your practice.
