We provide members with the chance to support a number of worthy causes. We are always grateful when members promote, and make use of, our own benevolent fund, Arch Support, but it doesn’t stop there. Over the years, we’ve built links with lots of charities in the UK and internationally and supported their work. Charities like Forgotten Feet and the Crisis at Christmas campaign.
Raising awareness of Allied Health Professions
We take our place on the Allied Health Professions Federation with the professional bodies of all the other Allied Health Professions (AHPs). We take our commitment to championing the work of this group of health care professionals seriously, so we can often be seen promoting the awareness weeks of other AHPs.
The world of sport
Organisers of sporting events often get in touch with the College to ask us to put a call out for podiatrists to help athletes. Most recently, this has included the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and the London Marathon.
