Looking back - Season's Greetings
As we approach the festive period, a trawl through the journals over the years shows a long tradition of charity and fund-raising.
This was combined with warm greetings and festive musings, lists of the many branch Christmas festivities, Xmas quizzes as well as many calls for volunteers to help the homeless.
In the 1930s, many fundraising activities benefited the London Foot Hospital, pictured above.
