Podiatry 2025: Call for abstracts

Invitation to submit a poster presentation or short paper

We invite participants to submit abstracts for consideration at our conference. Abstracts should provide a concise summary of your research, including objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.

Abstract submission and presentation formats

When submitting an abstract, you can choose one of two presentation formats:

  1. Poster presentation: Your research will be displayed in our poster exhibition, allowing for discussion and engagement with attendees.
  2. Short paper: You will submit your abstract as a short paper. If judges from our Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) Committee score it highly you will have the opportunity to present it during short paper concurrent sessions during the Podiatry 2025 conference.

Why submit an abstract?

Whatever your status or level of experience, you should think about submitting an abstract at this year's Annual Conference. Abstracts are welcome from students, clinicians, researchers, and other professionals involved in podiatry.

Reflect
It's an opportunity to reflect on your work and your current practice in an informal environment, without the rigour and challenge of producing a full academic paper.

Network
The Meet the author opportunities at the conference are the perfect opportunity to meet face-to-face with other practitioners, develop professional links and tap into support networks.

Discuss and evolve

The feedback you receive from your peers might challenge your thinking and suggest alternative ways of working, allowing ideas to be shared and discussed in a safe environment.

Conference is a great opportunity to secure further CPD

Submitting an abstract demonstrates your commitment to learning and development. The preparation you do beforehand and the learning outcomes you receive contribute to the ongoing improvement in the quality of your practice.
