Terms and conditions - Refer a friend promotion

A ‘friend’ in this context is any member or non-member podiatrist that is HCPC registered and that is successfully referred to the College and purchases a ticket for the 2022 Annual Conference.

In order to claim your discount for 2023 you must email liverpooltickets@rcpod.org.uk and provide the name of the person you have referred. This information will then be verified and you will receive information about how to claim your discount for our 2023 Annual Conference after this year's event.

Individuals are to seek prior permission from the person that they successfully refer before disclosing that person's personal details to the college in relation to the refer a friend scheme. One refer per attendee based on a first referred basis.

On referring a friend, the referrer will secure a 15% discount off the ticket price of their choice for the 2023 Conference.

The refer a friend promotion is for all 2022 annual conference ticket types, including concessions.

15% off 2023 annual conference tickets for successful referrers can be applied to any 2023 ticket type, including concessions.

To secure a discount to the 2023 conference, the friend you refer must have purchased a ticket by 30 June 2022.

Friends that are referred to buy a ticket for this year’s event must not have already purchased a ticket for the Annual Conference 2022.

This prize draw is organised by The Royal College of Podiatry, Quartz House, 207 Providence Square, Mill Street, London SE1 2EW.

How to enter

Simply book a ticket between 2-5 June 2022 to be automatically entered into the prize draw for your chance to win a VIP conference experience for two at the Royal College of Podiatry – Podiatry 2022 Annual Conference and Exhibition held on 7-9 July 2022 at the ACC Liverpool.

The Royal College of Podiatry will not accept responsibility for any equipment failure, malfunction of technical devices, network or hardware or software failure of any kind. The Royal College of Podiatry reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

Valid entries are in relation to booked tickets between 2-5 June 2022.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
Any conference tickets purchased for Royal College of Podiatry – Podiatry 2022 Annual Conference and Exhibition held on 7-9 July 2022 at the ACC Liverpool prior to or after the stated closing date will not be accepted.
The Royal College of Podiatry reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.

The Draw

A winner will be chosen at random within one week of the prize draw ending.
The winner will receive details of the prize.
The winner will be notified by telephone or email (using details provided via the conference ticket booking system) within seven days of being chosen. If a winner does not respond to the Royal College of Podiatry within seven days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Royal College of Podiatry will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
Details of the prize will be arranged and the experience booked with the winner within 5 days of responding to the Royal College of Podiatry.

Prize details

  • An additional free conference ticket to bring a friend/colleague*
  • Meet and greet with Steve Cram (both attendees to be ticket holders, this event is not open to the general public)
  • £150 restaurant gift card
  • Lunch with speakers and staff
  • Two tickets to a top Liverpool attraction (experience to be confirmed)
*This event is not open to the general public, additional ticket holder would need to qualify in relation to an available conference ticket type specification


This prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The Royal College of Podiatry reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Royal College of Podiatry’s control makes it necessary to do so. The decision of the Royal College of Podiatry regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

The winner’s name and county can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to The Royal College of Podiatry, Quartz House, 207 Providence Square, Mill Street, London SE1 2EW or an email to comms@rcpod.org.uk within 60 of days after the date of the closing date of the prize draw.

The Royal College of Podiatry reserves the right to hold void, suspend, amend or cancel the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Royal College of Podiatry, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be liable or responsible to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Royal College of Podiatry, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. Third party suppliers hold no association or individual responsibility to the prize draw.

Data protection and publicity

The Royal College of Podiatry is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and data by only using your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Royal College of Podiatry Privacy Policy which is available on our website: https://rcpod.org.uk/privacy-policy

By purchasing a ticket during these dates of entry, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by the Royal College of Podiatry or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.

Governing law

This prize draw is governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

The Royal College of Podiatry reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
