RCPod's response to the HCPC's consultation on changes to fees

The consultation document set out the proposal to increase the fees charged to registrants and applicants, and provided information on:

• the way income is used
• the efficiencies and improvements made following the previous fee rise, and
• steps taken to delay the need for a fee increase.

The proposals are underpinned by a careful financial analysis of what is necessary for HCPC to continue delivering its regulatory responsibilities. Without the fee increase, HCPC faces no longer being financially sustainable. 

The consultation took the form of an online survey with eight questions.
