2.  Why is the annual conference happening in July this year?

The COVID-19 pandemic caused unprecedented disruption to events schedules across all industries and professions. The College was no exception to this. In 2021, we had to rearrange our annual conference for that year, as well as our multi-year arrangements with ACC Liverpool, who also had to accommodate other rescheduling requests from other organisations. As such, it was decided that a conference in November 2021, followed by a conference during an available slot in July 2022 was the best way possible to stay within the agreed contractual arrangement between the College and the venue and for the College to retain its commitment to provide a good national event for podiatrists to attend.
