It has been confirmed that the COVID-19 vaccination programme will start on 8 December in Scotland. Further updates, including information about how AHPs can assist, will be posted here when available.
Letters to health ministers offering the profession's support
The College of Podiatry wrote to the Health Ministers and Cabinet Secretaries within each of the four UK Nations to highlight the suitability of podiatrists to support the COVID-19 vaccination programme.
The letters also asked for clarity on whether all podiatrists, regardless of sector, will be prioritised to receive the vaccine at an early stage.
