Emma Noe elected as Chair Elect of Council at the Royal College of Podiatry

Emma Noe, Head of Service at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, has over two decades of experience in operational management, professional leadership and specialist high-risk and wound care roles. She will take over the position from Professor Jane McAdam following the 2026 AGM.
Emma Noe has been appointed as Chair Elect of Council at the Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod).
Her appointment follows a vote by her fellow Council members at their meeting on Thursday 3 July.
Emma has been a member of Council — the RCPod’s Board of Directors — since members elected her to it in 2024.
In addition to her role on Council, she is also Vice Chair of the College’s Membership Committee and its NHS Managers’ Steering Group.
Speaking about her election, Emma Noe said:
“It is an enormous privilege that my fellow professionals on Council have put their trust in me to Chair our professional body. I have been a podiatrist for 22 years now. I care deeply about our members and about harnessing people from all corners of our profession to progress and secure our future together.
“I’m committed to building on the excellent work of Professor Jane McAdam and the leadership team — continuing to reform our organisation and strengthen the profession for today and for the future.”
Professor Jane McAdam, Chair of Council at the Royal College of Podiatry, said:
“I am absolutely delighted that Council saw fit to elect Emma as the next Chair. She is a brilliant success story — a dedicated member who has volunteered her time, energy, and expertise and will now represent her professional body and its members. She will bring considerable clinical experience, as well as her strategic skills, talents and leadership to the role. Emma has the profession at her heart, and I know she will do fantastic things for the organisation and the profession.”
Emma will take over as Chair following the College’s AGM in 2026.
