After seven months of discussions with BUPA, the Royal College of Podiatry updates members on the BUPA Podiatry Network

For some time now the Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) has been exploring ways of working with BUPA and in recent months has begun fresh conversations regarding our members' needs. To date these discussions have been very positive.

BUPA representatives were engaged and willing to improve relations with RCPod members. We discussed a variety of topics including fees, scope of practice and recognising podiatry organisations.

As a result, BUPA will be increasing some fees, and will be contacting those affected directly. The RCPod has not yet received details of the proposed new fee structure.

We are keen to develop this relationship, whilst ensuring that we consult with our members and provide updates. We are asking our members who are registered as BUPA providers to register this status with us so that we might better communicate with those affected.

You can do this by completing our online form.

This will enable us to continue to represent the views of our members to the best of our ability.
