The Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) is inviting expressions of interest for the role of Accreditation Reviewer as part of an exciting new Quality Assurance Programme.
This initiative supports the RCPod’s commitment to maintaining high standards in podiatry education and training across the UK and Ireland. The RCPod is seeking individuals from a range of backgrounds — including registered podiatrists, clinical academics, recent graduates, and laypersons with quality assurance experience — to contribute to the accreditation of pre-registration and post-registration podiatry courses.
Accreditation Reviewers will play a vital role in evaluating how educational providers and CPD courses meet our standards. This includes participating in site visits, engaging with students, and reviewing documentation to ensure the delivery of high-quality podiatry education.
We welcome applications from:
- Clinical academics in podiatry (to serve as Team Leaders)
- Practising podiatrists not based in academic institutions
- Recent podiatry graduates (within the last two years)
- Laypersons with experience in quality assurance or allied health education.
Successful applicants will be involved in a variety of quality assurance activities and must be available for face-to-face meetings. A daily rate and expenses will be provided.
