The RCPod seeks a new Chair-elect for a three-year term to chair its Annual Conference and its Annual Conference Committee
The successful applicant will become Chair-elect in 2025 before assuming the role of Chair in 2026 and 2027
The Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) is seeking to recruit a new Chair-elect to sit on its annual conference committee for three years.
The successful applicant will initially shadow the current Chair in the lead-up to the 2025 event, before assuming responsibility for the oversight of the planning and delivery of the 2026 and 2027 conferences, working closely with the RCPod staff team and committee members.
In addition to their duties as Conference Chair, the successful applicant will also mentor a future Chair-elect while they are in their final year in the role.
The successful applicant must be actively registered with the HCPC and hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry/Podiatric Medicine. If the applicant has a DPodM, then they must have a relevant Master’s degree. The panel seeks applications from a wide variety of backgrounds.
The closing date for applications is midnight on 8 December 2024.
Successful candidates will need to be available to attend an informal interview conducted via MS Teams.
