The Royal College of Podiatry launches new corporate partnership strategy with SOCKSHOP as first partner

SOCKSHOP becomes the RCPod's first Strategic Partner in a new approach that puts ethics, impact and shared values at the heart of the College's collaboration with the private sector
The Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) is proud to announce the launch of its redesigned corporate partnerships strategy, intended to create ethical and transparent collaborations with the private sector that aligns with its mission and values.
SOCKSHOP joins as the first strategic partner under this new approach, supporting a major new public awareness campaign which launches in late-2025, aimed at highlighting how podiatry has changed its patients’ lives.
This new strategy is underpinned by the RCPod’s Ethical Collaboration Policy which ensures that all partnerships are built on shared values, mutual respect and are beneficial for both the public and patients. The policy safeguards the RCPod’s independence, while allowing joint initiatives with organisations that promote good health and align with the RCPod’s ambitions for podiatry.
Jane Pritchard, the RCPod’s Chief Executive Officer, said:

The partnership with SOCKSHOP will focus on raising awareness of podiatry and foot and lower-limb health, a critical but often overlooked and publicly under-recognised area of health care. It will feature compelling patient stories, educational content and a coordinated digital campaign to engage the public and policymakers alike.
