Scottish members' view are being sought on the offer received for Agenda for Change staff working in Scotland for the pay period 2025/26 and 2026/27

The Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) has been involved in the negotiations with the Scottish Government regarding a pay award for our NHS members in Scotland. The outcome of these negotiations was a final pay offer of a two-year pay deal covering 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2027, as detailed by the Scottish Government on 8 April 2025. This final pay offer is an uplift of 4.25% in 2025/26 and 3.75% in 2026/27. Additionally it includes measures to try to ensure the uplift stays ahead of inflation for this two year period.

Following discussions with our trade union representatives in NHS Scotland and the RCPod’s Employment Support Committee, it is the belief that this is the best achievable offer from negotiations and members are being recommended to accept the offer.

A consultative ballot on the offer is open until 12pm on Thursday 15 May and has been distributed by email to members registered as working in NHS Scotland. Any member who has not received this email and is working for NHS Scotland is asked to contact the Employment Relations team at employmentsupport@rcpod.org.uk.
