About the award

The Podiatry Team of the Year Award recognises a team of podiatry professionals who have demonstrated exceptional collaboration, innovation, and impact in their Trust or Practice.

Eligibility

At least one of the team must be a Royal College of Podiatry member

Awarded for 
  • Demonstrates outstanding teamwork and collaboration among members, fostering a positive and productive working environment
  • Consistently delivers high standards of clinical care, resulting in excellent patient outcomes
  • Implements innovative practices and approaches to podiatric care

How to make a nomination

Nomination statement (max 500 words)

The nominator should provide a clear statement addressing:

  • Teamwork and collaboration: How the team works together effectively, fosters a supportive environment, and integrates diverse skills and roles
  • Clinical excellence: Examples of consistently high-quality care, innovations in service delivery, and measurable improvements in patient outcomes
  • Innovation: Introduction of new techniques, models of care, digital tools, or process improvements
  • Health equity: Work that targets underserved communities, removes barriers to care, or promotes inclusive practices

Include outcomes, feedback, and any measurable impact wherever possible.

Supporting evidence (required attachments)
  1. One team testimonial from a colleague, patient or manager (max 500 words)
    • Highlighting teamwork, outcomes, or innovation
  2. Team Profile (max 2 pages)
    • Summary of roles, key projects, achievements, and outcomes
  3. Optional evidence (max 2 items):
    • eg, Case studies, service improvement reports, patient feedback, media coverage, photos of team initiatives
