Careers fairs 2025

An opportunity to meet careers ambassadors from the Royal College of Podiatry

From August to September this year, we will be attending careers fairs across the UK to raise awareness of podiatry as a great career path. We will speaking in particular to school leavers, career changers and job seekers.
 
At each event there will be opportunites to meet with representatives from the profession, including staff from higher education institutions which run podiatry courses, podiatry students, and podiatrists working in both the private sector and the NHS. 
 
This is your opportunity to talk to podiatrists from different backgrounds about a career in podiatry.

Everyone is very welcome to attend.

UK Careers Fairs 2024

An opportunity to meet representatives of the Royal College of Podiatry
From August to November 2024 we will be attending 16 careers events across the UK with the aim of showcasing podiatry to potential new recruits to the profession. The locations of our events correspond with the locations of universities that offer podiatry courses, namely:

Southampton; Brighton; Sunderland; Wolverhampton; Northampton; Ulster; Salford; Cardiff; Newcastle; Durham; Edinburgh; Glasgow; Plymouth; Huddersfield; Bournemouth; and London

If you are thinking of a career in podiatry, we would be delighted to meet and chat with you at one of our events.

Wellness activities in Glasgow

If, following a busy conference, you need to recharge and re-set, and nourish your mind and body before returning to practice, then Glasgow has plenty of options to choose from, including spas, and retreats for relaxation and meditation.

There are also opportunities to get out into the fresh air for fun hour-long health walks, a park run, cycle rides or a round of golf.

Environmental sustainability in Glasgow

Alf Morris Community Award

This award has been established in honour of the late President of the Royal College of Podiatry, the Right Honorable Lord Morris of Manchester AO QSO, who died in 2012. The award reflects Lord Morris's strong social conscience and the difference he made to the lives of ordinary disadvantaged people.
