Find out more about Glasgow
In January 2025, Glasgow was named by Which as one of the 15 best places to visit in the UK.
Why not combine your attendance at conference with finding out what else Glasgow has to offer.

Reasons to visit Glasgow
As well as its rich history and heritage, world-class museums and attractions, Glasgow has a reputation as one of the world's friendliest cities, with a thriving music scene, live entertainment and affordable places to socialise and dine.
It is also a convenient base from which to take day trips to Scotland's great outdoors, for walking, beaches, castles and lochs.

Wellness activities in Glasgow
If, following a busy conference, you need to recharge and re-set, and nourish your mind and body before returning to practice, then Glasgow has plenty of options to choose from, including spas, and retreats for relaxation and meditation.
There are also opportunities to get out into the fresh air for fun hour-long health walks, a park run, cycle rides or a round of golf.

Environmental sustainability in Glasgow
If you are thinking about your enironmental impact during your visit to Glasgow, there are plenty of ways in which you can reduce your green footprint. Glasgow is a compact city and it's easy to get around on foot, by public transport, including the famous subway, the City Sightseeing bus, or using the cycle hire scheme.
