The College seeks members' views to help build new and improved resources

The Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) is working with HEE on several projects to produce practical podiatry-specific resources for members and the public. The work will also improve and update some of the College's existing guidance and frameworks.

The outcomes of this work will be published on the RCPod website and shared with HEE to update the information they hold about the profession. It will also lead to improvements to the RCPod’s existing guidance and frameworks, including the Careers Framework. All of the projects will assist HEE in its work to modernise the AHP professions, including podiatry.

The projects focus on several key areas involving the modern-day podiatry workforce, including:

• Apprenticeships
• The Careers Framework
• International recruitment
• The support workforce
• Modernisation and reform
• Retention and support for students, the newly qualified and early careers
• Return to practice
• Professional specific interventions. 

All members have received an email about how they can take part in these sessions and the College would like to encourage as many members as possible to take part.
