Applications for funding to The College of Podiatry Trust for 2024/2025 are now closed

The Trustees will release a maximum of £12,000 in any one year with no individual grant exceeding £3,000. Applications to the fund will close at the end of September 2024 with a decision on funding made by the end of October 2024.

The College of Podiatry Trust is a small charitable foundation which forms part of The Royal College of Podiatry group of business entities. The Trust was established in 2018 to provide funding towards small projects that will expand the knowledge of the podiatry profession, improve and elevate professional practice, be innovative, and benefit patient care.

The Trust welcomes proposals from all branches of the profession, including Student Members of the College, those engaged in academic work, and those who are employed in either the NHS or the independent sector.

Funding is available for small projects that are in line with the Objects of the charity and must include at least one of the following:

  • The advancement of health, but not limited to, the prevention and treatment of diseases and conditions of the foot and associated structures.
  • The advancement of research, audit and improving clinical practice, and education of the public in the art and science of podiatric health relating, but not limited to, the prevention and treatment of diseases and conditions of the foot and associated structures.
  • The advancement of education, training and scholarly activity for podiatrists with a view to raising standards of podiatry for the benefit of the public.
