Members who work for or who have previously worked for Shuropody, are again being urged to contact the College if they are in need of workplace assistance
Since news broke earlier this year of Shuropody store closures and redundancies, the College's Employment Relations team has been working extremely hard to ensure the best outcomes for members and are pursuing their legal rights though the appropriate channels. This process has been made extremely difficult due to the lack of certainty over who owns the company and the news that a previous holding company which owned Shuropody until 14 August 2023 has gone into liquidation.
Patients have been left without ongoing care and with unsuccessful attempts to recoup unused portions of pre-paid treatment plans, while staff are seeking answers without any response from the company.
