The College’s professional magazine recently earned prizes at national industry award ceremonies

The Royal College of Podiatry’s professional magazine, The Podiatrist, has won recognition in two national competitions.

At the Association Excellence Awards, it earned the bronze award for Best Publication in a category that contained larger organisations like the National Trust Scotland and the Chartered Institute of Professional Development.

Earlier in the month, the magazine was highly commended for Best Magazine Launch or Re-launch and Best Magazine (< 20K circulation) at the prestigious Memcom Awards, the flagship awards ceremony for membership organisations and professional bodies.

These awards come in the magazine’s second full year after it successfully relaunched to members in January 2021.

The Editor of The Podiatrist, Emma Godfrey, said:

Huge congratulations to the editorial and design team, including our professional editor and his deputies, our College colleagues and of course the members who've both written and been interviewed for The Podiatrist. This award is in recognition of the hard work that has gone into evolving the publication into the award-winning magazine it is today. This isn't the end of the story by any means. So watch this space!

The next issue of The Podiatrist will be available to members in November.
