The 2024/25 NHS pay offer vote has concluded, with strong support from members across England

The Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) member consultation on the NHS Pay offer for workers in NHS England closed on 6 September. The result was 87.5% in favour of accepting the offer, and 12.5% rejected the offer.

You can find the full details of the offer made to NHS England workers for 2024/25 here.

What happens next?

The RCPod will now advise the NHS that it accepts the offer. The NHS will then process the payments. Members up to Band 7 pay scales can expect to see the pay rise and the backdated element in their October salary. Those at Band 8 and above will receive their backdated pay element and pay rise in November, as the NHS system will take longer to process the changes.

Members in Scotland are currently voting on the NHS Scotland pay offer. The RCPod awaits formal pay offers for the 2024/25 period for members in NHS Wales and in Northern Ireland.

Thank you to all our members who took the time to respond to the consultation.
