The College seeks a new Chair-designate for a three-year term on its annual conference committee

The successful applicant will become Vice-Chair immediately, before assuming the role of Chair in 2024 and 2025

The Royal College of Podiatry is seeking to recruit a new Chair-designate to sit on its annual conference committee for three years.

The successful applicant will initially shadow the current Chair in the lead-up to the 2023 event, before assuming responsibility for the oversight of the planning and delivery of the 2024 and 2025 conferences, working with the RCPod staff team, committee members and the Professional Conference Organiser (PCO).

In addition to their duties as Conference Chair, the successful applicant will also mentor the incoming Chair-elect in their final year in the role.

The successful applicant must be actively registered with the HCPC and hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry/Podiatric Medicine. If the applicant has a DPodM, then they must have a relevant master’s degree. The panel seeks applications from a wide variety of backgrounds.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Friday 3 February.

Successful candidates will need to be available to attend an informal interview conducted via MS Teams on the morning of Wednesday 8 February 2023.
